BLOOD DRIVE COMMITTEE WILL MEET IN THE BOARD ROOM ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10 OVER THE LUNCH HOUR. BRING YOUR LUNCH AND WE WILL PLAN FOR THE FINAL DRIVE ON THE 18TH.

Temporary scripts are ready in Mrs. Bauerle’s room. Please pick one up if you don’t have one. Rehearsals begin Tuesday, March 9 at 7:00 in the theater.
If anyone is interested in helping with prompting at rehearsals, sets, costumes, properties, tickets, or programs, please see Mrs. Bauerle.
FCA BOYS AND GIRLS will meet Tuesday, March 9th at 5:45 in Mrs. Hanna’s room for pizza.
Seniors: The next local scholarships and their deadlines are the following:
March 21: VFW 2 awards—1 from VFW and 1 from FVW Ladies Auxiliary as Jack Carmen Memorial Scholarship— Any major, any college, must have a relative (parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt, or uncle) who served in the military
April 1: Alta Hier—Any major, any college, must earn a minimum 2.5 first semester in college and show/send grades to Marcie Yaw, Mike Sorensen, or Matt Fisher. Check will then be sent to your college.
April 1: Eagles—any major, any college
April 1: Eastern Star—Any major, any college

All of you should have completed your application for admission and the scholarship application for the colleges you are considering or will attend. Letters of acceptance should arrive soon with information about housing.
Attention all 7th and 8th grade girl and boy tracksters. There will be a meeting on Tuesday, March 9th at 3:35 in the shorthorn gym. You will meet the coaches and fill out the required paperwork. If you are unable to attend and plan on going out, please see Mrs. Dickey. Your parents are welcome to attend.

A friendly little reminder that if your name appears on the ineligibility list the week of Prom,
you are NOT eligible to attend the banquet or the dance. Work hard during the next couple
of weeks, get your name off the down list and make sure you’re able to attend!!
Seniors: Jostens orders are in the guidance office. You may pick your order up when you pay the balance. Make checks out to Jostens!
The Prom is Saturday, March 20th! We are doing many things different this year! Sign up will be in the library. EVERYONE attending must sign up and pay $5 at the time as we need an accurate head count for the banquet! Out-of-town guests will be an additonal $5. If you do not sign up, you will not be able to attend the banquet and dance. So get in ASAP!
Picture Sign-up will also be in the library.
ATTENTION all 3-Act Play Participants:
Try Outs for the upcoming play will be this THURSDAY evening from 7:00 until 8:00 IF the play books arrive Wednesday!
Please check with Mrs. Bauerle Wednesday afternoon or check Thursday's announcements for verification!
The following is the basic plan for practices and performances:
Practices will run Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 7:00 until 9:00 beginning March 9.
The play performances will be Sunday, April 18th and Monday, April 19th.

BOYS: If you want to order your tuxes from Shari’s she wanted to let you know that you need to place your order 3 weeks in advance. There are flyers on the front desk in the office. Prom is March 20th!!!
The journalism class needs a senior and baby picture from you for the
yearbook! Please get them to Mrs. Bottom, Jake P. or Andrei R. as soon
as possible. If you want to use the same pictures you gave to Mrs.
O'Neil just let us know. Thank you!!
Three-Act Cast, please meet in Mrs. Bauerle's room at 3:20 for a quick meeting about rehearsals and the practice schedule.
Congratulations to speech team members Chevy Smith, who tied for fourth place in poetry, and Joel Fisher, who tied for fourth in serious prose.
Chevy in informative speaking and Bryan Bischoff in poetry both placed seventh, just missing finals.
Congratulations to 7th & 8th grade ESU 15 quiz bowl students who received 2nd place yesterday.
